The Indian banking system is entirely different than that of other countries in Asia and in all over the world. The difference is due to the economic culture, financial system and the geographical structure of the country. The economic development and the financial structure of the people of the country are different. The financial structure of India is the combination of different institutions like commercial banks, financial institutions, on banking financial companies and capital market intermediaries. There are four different types of commercial banks like public sector, private sector, cooperative institutions and foreign banks. More than ninety two percent of the banking system is under the control of the state and the remaining will be the combination of private banks jobs and the foreign banks. There are around nineteen nationalized banks in India. The nationalized banks are under the control of the government whereas the private banks or the foreign banks are under the control of the respective concerns. The recruitment for the different banks in India may differ and the recruitment process will be different and it is according to the bank. The IBPs which is the institution for banking personnel selection has planned to conduct the common entrance test for the recruitment of the probationary officers and the management trainees for this year. The common entrance exams dates and the IBPS CET details will be there in the official site of the IBPS. The graduates can apply for this exam through online and can use their score for one year. September eighteen 2011 is the CET 2011 exam date and the syllabus and the model papers for this exam are available in the internet. The candidate belonging to the backward caste or any other caste must deposit the amount of four fifty to appear in the bank CET 2011 or IBPS CET 2011.
